Quality Disclaimer

There will be hook marks inside the parts after going through the anodize process, I accept no more than 3 dot in 1 area. Each dot should not exceed 2.5mm. Hook marks are only allowed to appear in invisible areas after the build (plate and switch installation)
There may be minor machining/tooling marks on internal faces.
The anodizing process will cause the color variation of the top part and bottom part to not 100% match under special lighting conditions. However, I would still accept a very slight difference, especially as the design of the CLS-3 is that the top part will snap over the rest.
The part is made of brass and sandblasted surface treatment, will have a uniform yellow color, the gain of the surface is relatively consistent. No scratches, dents, and stains.

The stainless steel components of our product may have slight imperfections due to the manufacturing process. These imperfections may include small scratches or marks on the surface of the steel. However, any scratches or marks longer than 3mm or 3 spots that can be easily seen will be considered as defects, and will affect the functionality of the product. Additionally, variations in the finish of the steel may be visible under certain lighting conditions. We strive to provide high-quality products, but please note that due to the nature of stainless steel and the manufacturing process, these slight imperfections may occur. Please consider this before making a purchase.

    ORI CLS-3//88 Standard Edition Review

This is one of the best keyboard I have thus far. The craftsmanship is next level even though it is not an easy board to assemble. It is definitely for those who have some experience building keyboards otherwise you're going to scratch it. I live near Anaheim, so I just ordered this and picked it up the day after work. Great local vendor.

Ori was worth the wait / high quality. High quality but building the KB isn't "cookie cutter"

I'm a pretty big keyboard enthusiasts and have multiple s-tier keyboards (e.g., keycult, jane, etc.). I've been using the Ori for about 2 weeks since I received it and have been very happy with the keyboard. It sounds great, the quality is superb, and all the minor nuances are really beautiful in person. With that said, it isn't without some faults. The biggest fault, I would say, is that it isn't the easiest build and I would recommend this board to people who are "seasoned".

    1) Disassembly and reassembly is very time consuming and need for either long screw drivers/tools or taping off board. There are multiple parts to get to the interior of the board. As more and more modern boards become accessible, one of their QoL upgrades is being able to get in and out of your board relatively quickly. You have boards like the Jelly Evolv where you can swap in under a minute. I can open up most of my boards with just 8 or less screws and be able to make adjustments. That is not the case with the Ori. To get to the screws, you'll need a long allen wrench/screw driver and you'll need to be careful of getting to the them from the top or you risk scratching your case.

    2) Alignment Pins & Gaskets on lower half of Ori need to be modified. The alignment pins aren't perfect so you'll need to look at them to see if they need to be shaved or you risk your plate not depressing correctly. Additionally, the gaskets on the lower half of the keyboard are too wide and either need to be trimmed or "bunched" in or you can see the gasket after being built.

    3) Height and angle - I like it that the Ori has a slightly different height and angle as other boards and as an enthusiasts, like it that this has a different design than everyone else. With that said, I would say that this isn't an ideal angle/height and if this is your sole board, from a comfort perspective, there are probably other keyboards that are more ideal.

Conclusion: All in all, I love the board and as I continue to wind down my collection, I can't see myself selling the Ori and this is part of my permanent collection.
