The stabs definitely don't stay totally silent, but for the most part they remain some of the best stock stabs I've ever used and are still definitely a solid upgrade choice. Just make sure you have sufficient dampening under the board to really help muffle the undesirable sounds.

Despite the bad reputation plate mount stabs have gotten over the years, these are proof positive that from the right folks, plate mounts can be just as good as the rest of them. I'll fully admit that I say all of this as someone who's not exactly deep into the keyboard rabbit hole; I put these into a Ducky One 3 SF, which for prebuilt gaming keyboards is pretty top of the line. And it's not even close. I'm convinced, I'm a fan.
