The best stabs ive used
TX AP Stabilizers
Package arrived undamaged and accurate to order within a short notice!
Did not work on my Montech Mkey keyboard. I'll still leave a good review but hopefully somebody reaches out to me and helps me get the right part
What's to say, they just worked. Better than Durock V2 for sure. I tried those and then they sucked so I tried these and they're great, simple as that.
TX has been my go to stab since v1 and they have only improved. The TX AP stabs are the easiest to mod of any stabilizer I have ever used and make a formerly frustrating part of building easy.
I think the tolerances are either loose, or it's just straight up incompatible with certain keycaps such as SA/MT3
staple, will never use anything else, unless these are deigned seasonal, which one hopes not
I don’t use anything else anymore.
TX AP Stabilizers (Rev. 4)
I buy
TX AP stabs have become my go-to for ease of use and repeatability. I’ve had no run ins with previous “skill issues” sometimes encountered using other stabs or even TX v1/v2 revisions. I will never forget the emotional damage incurred while fumbling to get the stab stopper into the housing on stream with V1 last year. AP has solved my skill issue problem.
If you have used the previous versions, then the AP version feel like that 10 percent steady incremental improvement. Housings tolerances are just the right blend of being tight while still being smooth without binding and require very little lube. Wire clip points can be slightly tight but I have found snapping wires in and out is a method to work it in without waiting for repeated use. Also I am using less XHT-BDZ on wires and suggest an even lighter coating than the previous v3.
It’s hard to lube because of the right tolerance. I guess you should go extra conservative for the lube job. Overall, love the clip ins.
